PERSONAL
Born and raised in Istanbul. Neither a millennial nor Gen Z. Never knew I’d become a videographer. To be honest, I had many opinions about what I’d do after school throughout my education. From a teacher to a computer engineer… This exposed me to many different fields and I eventually became a Jack of all trades, but master of none.
After graduating from university in 2019, I struggled finding a job for more than a year. This was one of the toughest times of my life. I spent nine months of 2021 working in a minimum-wage job. I got raises in 2022 and 2023 from time to time but they were always far away from being satisfactory. All these things are life experiences to me.
I resigned at the end of 2023 to try new things and achieve more. In 2024, I spared my time to improve my video skills as well as create video content for social media. I felt calm and relieved while doing so. Once I was convinced that I was talented enough to be a videographer, I began applying for some jobs and fortunately, it did not take much time to find a positive response.
Currently, I work in the largest media company in Turkey. I am part of the digital production team. We create video content for the newspapers and TV/radio channels in the group.
Passionate about travel, I have visited approximately 20 cities across Europe and 10 cities within my home country, immersing myself in diverse cultures and sights. In my leisure time, I enjoy following sports, particularly football, basketball, and Formula 1.
